Vestibular Physiotherapy

fIjgvMtK.jpg
The vestibular system is located within the inner ear and contributes to our balance system and sense of moving in space. The vestibular system is important for balance, coordination, and eye control.

Having undergone further training in order to assess and treat the Vestibular System, our Physiotherapists can assist in managing your Vestibular symptoms.

The Vestibular system is intricate, complicated and highly sensitive area that can cause a serious impact to your daily life and that is where the team at PROmotion is there to help should you experience an acute episode of vertigo or if you suffering from a long term vestibular impairment

What does an appointment involve?

The initial appointment involves a detailed and thorough assessment over a 60min appointment. During this appointment our trained clinician will be able to decipher the main causes of your dizziness and treat it there and then. If treatment is ever out of our clinicians scope they will refer you on to appropriate practitioners.

Symptoms such as Dizziness, Grogginess, Ear Fullness, Feeling wobbly or having a fear of turning your head or moving your eyes due to these things, are all reasons to seek a Vestibular Assessment from our highly trained clinician and start the process of getting your eyes and ears in shape too!

*Please note the initial assessment will require a 60 minute appointment and Vestibular Physiotherapy is only available with the clinicians: Paul Atkinson, Kelsey Holman, Anna O'Loughlin, Sorcha Humphreys and Amanda Simmonds.
