Maddeson Muir

Exercise Physiologist

Growing up playing sport and having the accompanied musculoskeletal injuries, Maddeson developed an interest in rehabilitation. Studying at Notre Dame University she completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science, followed by Exercise Physiology as her postgraduate degree.

Maddeson’s university studies further emphasised her interest and the importance of pre and post rehabilitation. To increase her repertoire and knowledge Maddeson has also completed a Cert IV and Diploma in Clinical Pilates. After developing a passion for Pilates, you will often find Pilates exercises incorporated in the gym.

Maddeson has experience working with amputations, musculoskeletal, cardiac and metabolic conditions in a wide range of different aged clients.

Maddeson believes that educating the client on their injury and giving justification for the exercise is just as important as the prescription.

Maddeson’s favourite MOTION includes playing tennis with friends, Pilates and being at the beach with her golden retriever.
