Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Claire has 16 years of experience as a Physiotherapist with two bachelor of science degrees with honours in Sports Therapy and remedial massage, and Physiotherapy. Claire has focused the second half of her career in women health and pelvic floor rehabilitation completing her post graduate certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. Claire has a wealth of experience treating pregnancy and post-partum, bladder/bowel continence issues, pelvic organ prolapse, and defecation and other pelvic floor disorders. Claire utilises education, manual therapy, dry needling, rectal balloon therapy, real time ultrasound and rehabilitation using movement as part of her therapy.

 

As part of her rehabilitation practice claire is a APPI Pilates instructor and has 10 years of experience teaching pilates to men and women using mobility and stability to balance rehabilitation objectives.

 

Claire has a holistic approach to her therapy helping clients to balance real life objectives with realistic and effective treatment approaches. Claire has two children which has driven her to support women through the perinatal period to restore their body and mind to its potential while adjusting to positive work life family balances.


Claires favourite movement is Barre, pilates, running.
