Amanda Simmonds

Director

Upon graduating Physiotherapy from Notre Dame in Fremantle Amanda discovered her passion for Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Private Practice and further ignited her interest for rehabilitation whilst working locally and internationally with athletes.

 

On return from overseas (working abroad in Canada & NZ) Amanda completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. She enjoys helping people back to their pre-injury function with the use of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.


Amanda's Sports Physiotherapy experience also lead her to are at the WACA and with Netball Austrlia. She is currently the Lead Physiotherapist for the West Coast Fever Netball team and Physiotherapist at WAIS.


Whilst Amanda enjoys managing all types of musculoskeletal & sports injuries, her clinical interest areas include Knee & Shoulder injuries, athletic low back pain, concussion and the developing athlete.


Amanda’s favourite type of MOTION include running after her two energetic young boys, swimming, skiing, and anything on the water along our beautiful West Australian coastline.
