Essential Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other health care professionals as well as the ability to build client relationships.

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy

  • Either completion or in process of completing post graduate studies in Pelvic Health.

  • AHPRA Registration

  • Clinical Pilates and/or Rehabilitation Experience (formal training desirable) for full time role application

  • National Police Clearance certificate

  • Professional indemnity insurance, current first aid/CPR training & working with children check

  • Previous experience managing clients with both acute and chronic conditions and excellent communications skills other health care professionals assisting in case management

What we have to offer

Our clinic, an architecturally designed warehouse conversion has private treatment and consulting rooms, a large clinical Pilates studio, fully equipped functional rehab gym as well as separate areas for group exercise. We believe in getting the best outcome for our patients and believe that we have created a clinic that can meet and exceed expectations.


Our pelvic health team manages conditions specific to pregnancy, post-natal and menopause; painful sexual intercourse; as well as to provide pre and post-op pelvic floor rehab for gynaecological surgeries. We also manage bladder and bowel problems, pelvic pain and lumbo-pelvic pain for both males and females.


We have state of the art equipment for our pelvic health team; real -time and therapeutic ultrasound as well as laser therapy machines. With fully equipped treatment rooms, education tools and devices for managing pelvic health clients you will have everything you require.


At PROmotion we strongly believe in collaborative learning and encourage referrals and education between practitioners. Regular continuing education sessions are run in-house and the applicant will be provided with on-going support to pursue any further professional development or education they wish to participate in.

Who you are

A personable and passionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who is interested in maintaining and building a Pelvic Health service. You value working in a collaborative environment with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and are also driven to learn and develop professionally. You share our passion for providing evidence based practice and an individualised service to your patients.


You understand the importance and are able to communicate effectively with both patients as well as referring doctors and other allied health professionals. You have excellent time management and organisational skills and have a demonstrated history of successfully building and maintaining a caseload.


You are comfortable treating all aspects of Women’s Health such as pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, abdominal separation and prolapse and are expected to work collaboratively with our physiotherapists in the management of our antenatal and postnatal clientele. An interest in Men’s Health would also be desirable.

Key Responsibilities at PROmotion:

  • Current evidence based management of Pelvic Health clients

  • Establish individual rehabilitation plans and exercise programs tailored to the client’s current and changing presentation. 

  • Deliver small group rehabilitation sessions / exercise classes to a broad range of client groups. 

  • Rehabilitation plans for a variety of work environments and age groups.

  • Establish strong relationships and engage with key stakeholders and referral sources.

  • Contribute to ongoing Professional Development at PROmotion
