Steph completed her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) at Curtin University. After a number of years working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and clinical pilates, Steph developed a strong interest in Women’s Health. She has completed a Graduate Certificate and is now working towards a Master of Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy at Curtin University.
Steph is particularly interested in working with women during the postnatal period for pelvic floor muscle training, abdominal muscle separation, mastitis and returning to exercise safely. Steph enjoys taking our Mums and Bubs Clinical Pilates class which she finds is a perfect way for new mums to return to exercise in a safe and friendly environment.
Steph continues to use movement and exercise rehabilitation to assist clients with musculoskeletal injuries or who are seeking to improve their movement pattern and performance. She has completed an intensive clinical pilates instructor training course for Physiotherapists with training in mat and studio equipment and uses these principles when educating and training clients to improve quality and efficiency of movement. Steph has also worked in injury management and has a sound knowledge of workplace health and ergonomics.
Steph’s favourite type of MOTION includes pilates, netball, hiking and skiing.
