Rachel Kelly​

Rachel is a passionate musculoskeletal physiotherapist who has a keen interest in functional rehabilitation, pain and holistic patient care. She is currently in the process of completing her Masters Degree at Curtin University where she has refined her skills in assessment and management of all musculoskeletal injuries helping to empower patients to achieve their goals. She has over 10 years of clinical experience in the private practice setting having worked in both Perth and Adelaide. 

 

Rachel has completed extensive Pilates training with Polestar as well as her 200 hour yoga teacher training exploring movement in all forms. She has gained experience in breath training and meditation techniques as her philosophy to management combines both the mind and body. She uses her knowledge in movement and exercise to help with injury prevention and rehabilitation and works with patients of all fitness levels and pain conditions. She hopes to educate patients with the latest research to provide best care and strongly believes in strength and conditioning training as an insurance policy for healthy aging. 

 

Rachel draws on her running experience from her days at City of Perth and her love for longer distance running with assessment and rehabilitation in this area. She has a special interest in hip pain whether that be in the athletic or aging population and has worked with WAFL footballers refining movement patterns and improving performance.


Rachel's favourite MOTION includes running, yoga, snowboarding and hiking up mountains all over the world ..(when the borders are open). She practices what she preaches moving every day in some form and hopes to one day complete a Marathon in a major city.
