Nat graduated from Curtin University with a Master of Physiotherapy in May 2021. Growing up in Brisbane, she was first exposed to physiotherapy and Pilates for injury management as a high-level gymnast representing Queensland and Australia.
After graduating with a degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Queensland University of Technology in 2016 and doing a course in Pilates, she packed up and moved to Albany where she worked as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist within a multidisciplinary team in a private practice for 2 years. Working closely with the physiotherapy team here, she developed her clinical skills in exercise prescription for a range of conditions and populations and gained an understanding of how physiotherapists and exercise physiologists can work together to provide a greater level of care to patients. With this experience, she decided to return to university to study physiotherapy in 2019. During her recent studies, Nat also gained further experience working as a sports trainer for an amateur football club.
Nat’s favourite types of MOTION include beach walks, gym workouts and trying to keep up with her dog Dusty (kelpie x border collie).
