Briony grew up on a farm in the wheatbelt where she played a variety of sports and maintained an interest in human anatomy. Due to her agricultural background, Briony’s vested interest in food sustainability and nutrition accompanied her growing passion for exercise therapy and injury prevention, both of which compliment general well-being.
Briony completed her undergraduate at Notre Dame University and Master’s degree at Curtin, where she addressed a range of pathologies. In particular the musculoskeletal domain, mental health, cardiovascular disease management and pre and post-natal exercise prescription.
Briony is particularly interested in non-invasive injury management and the way exercise programming can be optimised to prevent injury. Briony highly values client education and justifying the link between the particular exercise prescription, the injury diagnosis and associated anatomy.
Briony’s favourite MOTIONS include hockey, water skiing, running and learning to kite surf.
